    Building the Turbo Whale:)

Hi guys, I have just got into Building cars almost a year ago. I used to own a gen1 eclipse and had to give it up so I could get a car safe enough for my wife and I's first born baby girl. And the safest cars on the planet, IMO, are Subarus. I found a great deal on an MY08 WRX and what a better family car than a turbocharged 2.5l hatchback beast am I right? So after having the Turbo Whale now I have been reading through builds on here and doing as much research possible on how my subie works and how I can safely build it to be a beast. So thank you guys for picking my thread to read through as it begins today finally. This will be a long build as most are as we are having a boy in September so most of the building will be put on hold for a bit but I will still be posting along the way

Before swapping intakes I got amazing mileage at first but of course comes mods goes mileage but well worth the trade. Don't think it was the intake's fault probably just my foot on the pedal more

Was so happy I went with mufflers and not just straight red IMO the black and red logo are better for my car. Very easy mod just followed the video on YouTube

I know i said I go intake then exhaust but there were a few other things I needed to do first. Dress up of course this is part 1 I had to take a pic with just the red. Installing was something else first shot at it only took 1 1/2 hrs but I'm not a tint guy +1 for stickers. I heard they make you go faster

and there we go with the smoked middle and a quick peek at the N1 Exhaust. Got the street version. Only difference is the resonator but no silencer on mine that just defeats the purpose of a loud beast sounding exhaust. Props to Invidia for such high quality exhaust systems. Brought the rumble out instantly

installed the Kartboy derlin Shift knob. I really like it, its light doesn't get hot in the sun and looks great plus drops the height of the stock shifter. Can't wait to get the short shifter and bushings. Heard bushings were kinda a pain but well worth it
