Time to update!! DatsikWRX's build thread

So it has been a while since I've been on and I thought I would share what has been done to the car so far. She is now stage 1 with a Cobb SF intake and an Accessport. I also added an Invidia N1 race catback. The car runs and sounds fantastic now and I couldn't be happier! Here are some pics and vids as she sits now!

Update time! I am now stage 2 and wow is this car fun! Added a CNT catted DP and an STI TMIC. Car is so much more fun to drive now. Also added RA UR mud flaps and dipped my wheels white. Looks a bit more classy now

    Complete Overhaul!

So, I had sneaking suspicion that my turbo was going bad. It would smoke quite badly every time I would start it up. Then, when it was warmed up, it would do this...

I decided to go to Innovative Tuning in Buffalo, NY for 2 reasons. First, I had heard many great reviews about Mike McGinnis and his tunes. Second, the shop was pretty close to where I go to school. Since I had the parts installed locally in Westchester, NY where I am originally from, I figured it would not be smart to make a seven hour drive to buffalo in an untuned car. Upon arrival, Mike was unbelievably friendly and helpful! Answered all my questions.

    Dyno Time!!!

    Final numbers came out to:
    317whp/317wtq @ 18psi

I could not be happier with this result! The car is my daily so I don't need crazy amounts of power but I wanted something that put out good numbers and was reliable and this is right where I wanted to be. Big shoutout to Mike and the whole crew at Innovative! Thanks for all your help!!!

So with the engine set for now, time to move onto other areas! Suspension/wheels are next!!
