    A few thoughts after owning the car for a week:

    1. The peak boost is consistently 16 PSI in 3rd gear. Either Subaru upped the stock boost from 14.5 PSI or the stock instrumentation is incorrect (also likely).
    2. The Sound Creator is totally lame. /point
    3. The STI seats are better than last year's model, but could use more lumbar support. Seriously, my MS3 has adjustable lumbar support. If Subaru could have just invested the R&D in the lumbar support and not that stupid sound creator....

    All-in-all, I love this car. Yes, the motor is an old lump. Yes, it gets abysmal fuel economy, but the speed that this thing carries through the corners is insane! When you stop and realize that this is a stock car from the factory, it's even more impressive.

    I would think 16 psi is correct. Since they went to the smaller engine, 2.0 from 2.5 they had to make up the power lost in the engine in boost. I'm sure they didn't wanna have less power than the prior year so they upped the boost to keep with the "same" power 268 hp as prior the 265 hp. Just my opinion though.

    Is this tube for pumping induction noise into the cabin? I could see that being a popular mod for the GR folks if so.

    Same engine in this thread. This is the EJ powered 2.5 STi, not the WRX

    That's the ringland failure tube. Causes Ringland failure right when you'd expect it.
