Any updates? Im actually considering getting a 2015 STi's base like you except in WRB or Lighting Red. For some reason the NH dealers have tons of base STi's lying around...looking to steal one on a lease to buy option possibly or just straight up buy it.

Would love to hear your thoughts now thats its been a 3+ months....

Great car. Just installed a Cobb STS and the shifts feel much better! The detents Subaru added in the STi 6MT are glorious.

Zax you got the base STi right?

How is the (is there) ability to plug in your iphone to a usb source to play music through the stereo?

Do you feel you should of gotten the HK/keyless option?

How does the Alcantara hold up so far for you? What do you clean it/preserve it with (if anything)?

    Thanks in advance.....

I don't have an iPhone, but with Android it works surprisingly well. The HU is not dissimilar to the Clarion unit in the GRs.

Nah. Well maybe. Well yeah... Now my wife has push to start and I'm getting lazy.

Zach, do you have any pictures of your cell phone mount and how it fits and is situated in the cabin?

Hey Zach... did you do the opticoat yourself? If so, what was the process like and where did you purchase it from?

Yep! It was awful. I don't wish the process upon anyone. I applied 4 coats, which spanned 3 days in total. One coat left me holed up in my garage (a one-car BTW) for about 3 hours on end.

Wow! Thanks for the info. I guess this is why it costs upward of $400 to have it done professionally. Would you say it's worth it? I'm picking up my CWP WRX within the next two weeks and I'm considering it before the glorious MD winter hits.

Well, the STi is white, which historically is an awful color to keep clean. I don't have a direct comparison, but my STi seems to stay cleaner than my friend's white car. The water always beads when it rains...
