Mod list has been drasticaly changed. Dumbing down this build for the time being due to getting some priorities straight. There will most likely be some DIY things going on such as the second IAT sensor and gauge. But for the most part this build has come to a very slow crawl for the time being.

It's a choice we have... flywheel or crank pulley not more than 20% lighter.
CP Sensor has issues with both.

As far as the true effect of the pulley:
It's machined more precisely, so it turns more smoothly and passes the belt with less friction to the belt.
It is made from a metal that is softer and less likely to cut the belt if the motor is shocked.
It is made from a metal that dissipates heat better so it will stay round when hot.
It does NOT have a damper ring in it, so it can't help with motor shock.

Pros do not outweigh cons, nor vice-versa.

It's totally a matter of whether you feel like being bothered with the installation,
and if cost of parts is worth the change.

A lightened crank pulley will make the throttle feel lighter... crisper.
It can also throw a CEL as stated, possibly cause a mechanical issue if it's superlight.

    Vishnu, Cobb... are CEL-proof,
UR and Perrin, possible CEL w/flywheel lightened.

Fluidampr and similar, CEL-proof, but $400+

    good luck on this!
