    2012 DGM sedan from NH!!

Hey guys, i have been creeping around the forums reading all the threads i could find, doing some research on my car for the past year in a half since i bought it on July of 2012.

Some info about me real quick, i am 19 years old and i am currently in my second year at MassBay in the BMW technology program and i love it, i love any activity that has to do with cars, yeah thats about it

I didn't do any mods really except for the nameless muffler delete which i loved a lot and i was satisfied with just that for a while. Obviously that didn't last too long because the mod bug soon bit me hard when my girlfriend bought me some Rally Armors for my birthday and at that point i wanted to buy everything. So i decided it would be cool to start a build thread to document everything and share my build and ideas with everyone else:thumb up: maybe even learn a few things from you guys about the car too!

After reading how awful the Subaru bushings were and my discovery of the very cool company whiteline i decided to buy all of the bushing kits and mounts that i could get my hands on. My plans and goal for the subie is pretty much to beef up the suspension and drivetrain a bunch and then ill start with all the significant power mods.

Enough talking, here are a bunch of pics of the car!

The awful sight of my car all crunched up actually happened on Christmas Even in a gas station parking lot 10 seconds after i won like 22 bucks on a scratch ticket so i was thinking i was up on my luck that night and as soon as i look up the huge ass end of a POS Dodge Ram that belonged in the scrap yard was coming straight at my rear door faster than i could even react to get out of the way. And boom 5k in damage on Christmas eve. which he ended up having to pay out of pocket since he didn't have insurance to anyone that was wondering how the damage happened

    Welcome!

I'd get an aftermarket heatshield to go over that turbo blanket. It helps protect your engine if there is any oil leaks. Also, have you driven a stage 2 clutch before? It is not exactly daily driver friendly. I would hold off on that and do it at the later stage of your build when you are pushing much more torque. I've had good luck with Amsoil and Napa Gold oil filters. Haven't heard much about the Provas.

Car looks great, and must drive better with all those bushing installs! I spend a ton of time in NH, so maybe you'll see me waving one of these days

hey thanks for the info i do have an SPT heat shield that i could throw on! i have not driven a stage 2 clutch before so i do not know how they feel yet, even the stage 2 street clutch would be tough? i wanted to just go stage 2 because my stock clutch/flywheel is getting weak. i will let everyone know about the bushings once i get them all installed, and yes ill definitely upload lots of pictures.

heres a video of the Prova filter:

Well if money was flowing in it would be easy, but all in time things will come. After doing some night driving I plan on changing out the headlights from H11 to H9, fixing the suspension up a bit and getting a better tune.
