I have used armor all to make them look shiny since I dipped them. I probably wont be keeping the stock wheels much longer. Im looking for a new set of wheels and putting on All-Season tires and making it my only set.

I did the springs with a buddy of mine picked up a spring compressor from harbor freight for $15 took about 3 hours because we didn't know what we were doing at first just make sure you get an alignment afterwards because you have to take the rear camber bolts out and there is no way you will get it back in the exact same way but definitely mark it before you pull them out!

With the help of my neighbor who is a Subaru guru, we installed the Swift Sport Lowering springs. I can say the suspension feels a tad bit more responsive, but not much until sway bars and endlinks get ordered. The process to install the springs was not too hard at all. a few bolts here and there were a bit tricky. Process was taking a few minutes until we decided to get the impact gun and things started flying from there. The springs offer enough of a drop to get rid of the monster truck look and the unneeded space in the fender wells. The overall drop was a little less than an inch. Enough with the non sense here are some pictures of the drop.

This was the start of the first spring.

A few minutes after being complete.

Later lastnight taking it for a drive and letting the springs settle in a little more.

Im happy with the springs so far and would recommend them to anyone.

Furthermore, we completed this yesterday in shorts and a t shirt as the temperature was 61 degrees, as I look out my window today its 21 and 5+ inches of snow on the ground.

I almost went with swift springs. How long would you guess it will take without air tools?

Forever. i would rent an impact gun, if you have a buddy with you there is not even a need for a spring compressor.

SUBIE13, I kept the OEM struts/ shocks. My car has 4700 miles on it, I figure they are good for a while longer. If they end up going out ill just replace them or get coilovers.

I like the red in the side ornaments. I'm planning on doing something similar with my car, white instead of red though. Did you get the vinyl inserts somewhere, or did you make them?

A cool picture from the other night. From left to right, 2014 WRX Hatch, 2012 WRX Sedan, 2003 WRX Wagon, 2005 Forester, 2012 WRX Hatch.

On another note, there should be a few new items ordered this week, still can't decide on what to get.
