I'm currently building my 02 WRX wagon into an occasional track day and eventual NASA TT car. This is gonna be done on a normal modder's budget(all off the shelf parts) and wont be a stripped down racer but a weekend track toy that can also run and get groceries(since it is a wagon). Cool a mini Subaru meet.... Nope just how my driveway always looks. I think I have a problem.

I remember your car from the Victory Meet. Looks good with a nice solid mod list. VF39 will get you where you want to be powerwise (could even go VF43 or VF48 as well).

zax, I actually am quite happy with how well these coilovers perform. They are actually really well built and have proven they can perform as well as a coilover twice their price. Just because something is inexpensive doesn't mean it's poor quality.

Thanks Mikie, the car has been on a mod hiatus for a while as I just got engaged, but now is back to being modded. I already have a p&p & ceramic coated vf39 from my old RS. All the power mods are left over from that car. I'm actually building a 95L once this is done and am going vf34 to get a good comparison of the turbos.

BCBR is known for poor quality valving.

I'm not trying to hate on you or your build, but if you are AutoX'ing, I think you'll be more competitive with Koni Yellows and RCE springs.

What class are you competing in? It seems like that mod list would put you at least at STX, if not higher.

In my area at least, that puts you against prepared Miatas which will run circles around a bugeye in the technical courses we have. The WRX has the power advantage in the few straight sections, but the Miatas ate up the corners.
