note the new sticker and vortex generator should give me at least 20awhp and 5mpg increase!
Edit: just got a $85 traffic ticket for going through a red light thats clearly still yellow while I'm in the intersection but I'll be away for the court date for training so I can't fight it As you can see by looking through the thread my luck is awful.
Like I promised changed out my intake today for the Cobb SF Intake and installed the kartboy SS which went pretty painlessly minus the snap ring but unfortunately once I went to reflash my car my Accessport kept telling me to cycle my key even though it was ON so after trying that a few times I disconnected my battery and tried again still told me to cycle my key so I pushed in the OBDII connection and the AP connection and it finally worked! Went for a test drive and not even 500M down the road and my car stalled out! I checked the code and it was P0102 low voltage from the MAF so I continued onto the Auto parts store hoping they were open and picked up a can of MAF cleaner because on the way home Emily hit 25,000 miles!!! Not the best start to a mini milestone in her life, but I cleaned the MAF checked the connection tightened the intake and what do you know Emily is back on her feet, thanks to kedonot1 for helping me out in the chat knew exactly what was wrong even though my Accessport was reading 0.0 volts and would stall and once i started it again read from 1.0-3.0
Cobb SF intake Black like everything else under the hood and car if you couldn't tell where I'm going with that color scheme…
Can't really tell the difference from this photo but new shift linkage and new knob feel fantastic together!
Just making sure: you didn't just spray the balloon-type piece, correct? I know some people make that mistake, and they just end up cleaning the IAT probe...
After you get a few miles with the S1+SF map, post up your impressions. If interested in feedback, post up datalogs.
Nah I got the right piece but I was Stage 1 for probably 15k+ miles before I went stage 2 this summer but do I need Accestuner Pro to post up datalogs or is AP manager sufficient?
I thought I had the problem fixed and I drove down the hill and it had happened again I stalled going downhill doing 45 kinda scary pulled off at the bottom of course I took my tool box out of my car so as I attempted to go up the hill my car would violently rev and die out and this continued all the way back up I luckily mad it home after stalling a few more times really not sure what is wrong now just gonna take it to the dealer tomorrow or have it towed there by Subaru Roadside assistance because its pretty much undrivable I ref lashed twice just to make sure I had the right tune.
P0102 is the only code I'm getting but the whole voltage thing is what is confusing me because it says 0.0 getting no voltage and will randomly spike to 1.3-2.7 and stay there and be fine. No boost leaks and my AFR is normal. :shake head:
20 years old and I got shingles this week wanna talk about adding to my stress levels!!!!

You do NOT need ATP in order to take datalogs off your unit. ATP is for professional tuners (you have to submit an application to even be considered for licensing), and offers some features that ATR doesn't. Just upload the .csv files to Google Docs and set them to "Public". Post links here. I'll likely have you alter your parameters based on what I see off the initial ones, but we'll address that later.
Merry Christmas or Mele Kalikimaka as my Hawaiian family says!
Little update on Emily I am back to the OEM air box and it definitely smoothed out my power band really wish I could keep the Cobb SF but Emily says no. I only have 10 days or so left with her and I'm definitely gonna miss her when I'm gone I'm just happy she is running stronger than ever!
I'm looking to get coil overs and sway bars trans mount and bushings when I get back and turn her into a race car cause the biddies like it rough. edobear2:
Happy new year this is gonna be my last story post for awhile as I'm going away tomorrow, ENJOY!
Got the STI Rear Fog Light from Agron1979! But I won't have time to install that because I'm flying outta Jersey tomorrow morning and be gone until Mid-March down in North Carolina!
Also picked up a Cusco Front Strut bar my car is JDM yo
Gonna miss Emily a whole lot not being able to drive sucks but I'll have some moneys for teh race car build so big things when I return!
Sorry to anyone who was interested in the Cobb AP, Invidia DP and Q300 I was selling I didn't have the time for that but anyone still interested can still snag it when I get back!
Hey bro everything looks great!!! Don't forget to add some pics once you get the STi light installed. Good luck down in NC and trust me she's gonna miss you as much as your gonna miss her..lol
Even though I'm still in North Carolina the jersey winter wasn't too great to my sister who has been driving my car and a piece of ice took out my front lip and cracked my front bumper so I'm getting it replaced with a new Oem one looking to get a carbon fiber front lip possibly and the license plate piece on the front will be getting shaved before it goes to paint
so it works out for the best
HELP! Looking to buy a chargespeed front bumper or another aftermarket front bumper if someone can help me find a site to buy one that would be beneficial it's very hard to find on my phone ?
So my sister got me a new bumper and I've ordered a few goodies for my baby
To include red hella horns and bracket and the APR Carbon fiber front splitter so my car is gonna look awesome by the time I'm done with it because I still have to install my rear sti fog light I also plan on buying coils and sways before I get off active duty in less than a month!!! Miss driving my car it's been too long ?
I was just driving and began to hear a whistling sound under boost and only to find out the bolt head was no where to be found half the bolt is in my TMIC does anyone know what size it is so I can replace them!?
Another guy on here broke the same bolt. I would try your dealership or a local nut/bolt store, try to match it up with the other one. I'm sure its metric
Take the other bolt out and run to Home Depot...use the little screw in thread sizers they have in the nut/bolt hardware isle. That will tell you the size and you have the other one for comparison.
Did a little bit of work on my car yesterday but sadly didn't get around to doing any wiring yet but Emily is on a good track to being healthy again I fixed my boost leak, bent out my fender so it just needs to get some touch up paint and be alright.
BEEP BEEP! Going for gold!
Next to come will be my front splitter hopefully this weekend.
Had a little photoshoot over by Rutgers University, probably the 1st time in awhile where I wasn't the photographer. Photo creds go to Kyle Petrick awesome photographer and sweet STi
Sadly after the shoot was over I had gotten a flat tire the craters in NJ are wheel killers
So finally installed my APR Front Wind Splitter took a few hours to plan it out not so long to drill all the holes. I was a little nervous about making my own holes but I measured everything out and it looks great!
Started by drilling the first two holes while the splitter was jacked up on my bumper then took it off and used the preset holes on the bumper for the rest and drilled a few of my own for the extra bolts they supplied. As well as the front supports which really add to the appearance!
Stupid LED turn signal (Pass. side) won't change to orange have to buy two new ones, not even a year old!
I am even more in love with Emily she is almost two years old edobear:
I ordered a new TB-IC hose because the OEM one is garbage but it is on backorder so no boost until that comes in... hella horns and rear fog wiring on the to do list
how do you like the front wind splitter ? I read some reviews about how it pushes the front end down so much some guys front bumper was pulling off. :eek3:
Answer: Amazon I paid no more than $20 and they all have worked perfectly no problem. The more expensive dual color LED turn signal I got already went out on one side.
I went with switcback leds they arent bad but with they were brighter. Planning on painting on painting the headlight housing? Not sure how I feel about splitter brace looks too bright and vampire like but still looks good.
