Bringing This Subaru Back To Life

Sup fellow suby owner's, I have here a 2004 subaru impreza WRX, I previously had owned a 97 Honda Civic LsVtec. One of my friends cousin was looking for a swap and I told him I would trade cars, plus I got cash on top and I got to keep a few misc parts not bad aye? Well when I had first gotten the car it was in horrible condition and the complete engine was torn apart. I plan on doing so much to the car and using it for school, it might take awhile since I'm 18. Well I will post pictures of everything I do. Thanks for looking and stay tuned, leave me any comments, suggestions
6/13\13 The Day I Got The Car

Painted the rims back to the factory color

The paint started peeling off from the whole car because whoever had it before repainted the car witout sanding the clear off

Painted the bay I just don't remember when I painted it(Aqua Blue Metallic) will take a picture of the bay when I Get a chance

Because it isn't needed. The ECU does that all by itself.

However, given the state of the car, does it even have the stock ECU?

Yea, I just did the primer with spray can, but I shot the engine bay color with the gun. I will be painting the exterior as well with the gun. And as for anything big no, I'm just replacing the front bumper to a vfiber(not rice), some oem style carbon creations fenders and maybe an sti wing. I don't want to sink in too much money due to it being a wrx, as for engine wise, I'm puttin another wrx engine, I have a gfb bov, and maybe a front mount. And will install a hks carbon turbo back.

Skip the FMIC and BOV. I'd recommend reading up on the First Mods sticky for a more effective mod path. That said, as you're 18, I'd recommend keeping the car stock until you've gotten a good feel for how the car performs (it will be worlds different from your Honda) and have finished school.

I got my impreza when I was barely over 18. I regret almost all the money I have spent on it. Put plenty of thought into everything before you do it. If you cant buy it 3 times...dont do it lol. But on the other hand, that's going to be a great car when it's all done.
