    Subaru-Mopar-Luv's Typical Teenage Rex Build

Hello, and welcome. Before I begin, I must warn you. Don't expect much from this build thread! It will move slower than a Nissan Leaf towing a trailer load of plutonium while running out of electricity. I am 16 at the time being, and resources as well as time are scarce. In order to attain resources, I must sacrifice my time. And by sacrificing my time, I don't get to take advantage of the resources I attain. What a fantastic cycle! (lol)

Anyways, I purchased my 2002 PSM WRX in late 2012, and have been waiting for the day I get to drive it without supervision ever since (In Saskatchewan, the government is angry at young teenagers and makes the unlucky ones whose birthdays fall between May 1 and July 10 wait up to 2 months. ).

My plans for the car aren't anything special. I just want to create a car that suits me and satisfies my need to spend all of my earnings on my car, as well as making it a bit prettier and a bit faster. I plan on Cobb Stage 2+ in the near future after I get a feel for my car, as well as a few exterior modifications to make her my own.

    Current modifications done by me:

    -Morette headlights
    -PSM painted sideskirts
    -PSM painted foglight covers
-O.Z Formula HLT gold rims 17x8 w/ Nitto Neo Gen 225/45/R17 rubber
    -Cobb SF Intake
    -Invidia V2 Bellmouth Downpipe
-Cobb OTS Stage 2 Tune on Accessport
    -Auto Meter Boost Gauge
    -carbon fiber shift knob
    -stickers (lol)

Current modifications done by previous owner:

    -good maintenance
    -142,000 kms on the odometer
    -cracked front bumper cover
    -dented hood
-dings and chips here and there
    -STP STS
    -Forge BPV
    -Unknown brand cat-back
Thank you for looking at my story thus far, and please bare with me as I attempt to make it interesting!

I bought them off Isaac when I struck gold and he told me he was thinking about selling them! Lucky timing I guess! I really don't want to sell them, but if it ever comes to that, the people of ClubWRX will be first to know. I'm going to keep them for a long time for sure though!

I think your Morettes would look better matching the car.

What exhaust do you have on there? That's not stock.

Oh, I forgot about that! Yes, it is aftermarket, not sure what brand though. I looked for engravings but couldn't find anything. It's just a cat-back.

As for the Morettes, I am not going to leave them black as I plan to do the ''raccoon eyes'' paint scheme on them. Silver all around and black in the middle portion in between the headlights.

Nice to see another young person on the forum. I wish I had a WRX at 16, but I'm glad I didnt. It was probably for the better.

    Update:

Today I did some digging around inside my car, and found a receipt from the dealer at which my car was first purchased that told of a very valuable upgrade hidden from me...until now! It turns out, the previous owner (who I can't say was very mechanically inclined) did not mention that my car had been fitted with an aftermarket up-pipe a few years after it was first purchased by the 1st owner in Alberta. The up-pipe is a Perrin unit and all gaskets were replaced as well. Now I don't have to do the dreaded up-pipe install!

To say the least, this made my day.
