Makes me stand out even more in a town where I am one of 3 WRX/STi drivers (who are all in my school and all bought their after I bought mine! They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ) I guess haha

Well folks, a LOT has changed on my baby in the past months. I have been quite busy with school and work and other teenage ventures and haven't found the time to keep up on the forum. One of these days I'll do a full update on my car, but some unfortunate incidents have led to the destruction of most of my front end (including the Morettes... ) as well as the rear end. Pictures and words to follow one of these days when I have time. I do have her back together and in my opinion, better than before now though! I'm also glad to see the forum is still as helpful and kind as it was before.

Alright, guys! College has been insanely crazy, but I've found some time to post a few pictures and updates on my WRX!

I'll start with the bad. As stated earlier, I had a winter driving incident where I rear ended a buddy on a grid (dirt) road in a blizzard where I didn't see him until I was lodged in his truck's back bumper where he had stopped on a patch of ice. I then decided to have some fun while she was bashed up, and entered her in my high school car show where I beat all the lifted trucks and won dirtiest vehicle (after pulling lots of them out of fields while mudding), as well as people's choice and worst body! This is how she looked then.

Yeah, it was bad. Since then though, I've put in a lot of money and a lot of hours! I had an entire JDM STi nose cut shipped in from Japan, as well as a JDM back bumper with side strakes, and an STi trunk and wing. I also did Perrin wing stiffis and an ebay vortex generator and Benen tow hook for pulling people out in the winter! As for non-aesthetic mods, I put a Mishimoto aluminum radiator in, and tackled the timing belt weith a Gates timing belt kit. Additionally, I welded my own straight pipe for the last month I had my car at home in Saskatchewan, which honestly made me fall in love with this car even more! I'll put a muffler back on eventually, but the growl of a Subaru with no cats or resonators is pretty addicting (at least for a hormonal 18 year old). Lastly, I installed Cobb front & rear shifter bushings with a Kartboy STS, and installed a Pioneer Appradio 4 deck with a cheap little 10" sub and amp. I'm pretty happy with where she is as of now, and don't have many crazy plans for the near future as school is way too expensive. It's so expensive that I had to leave my Subaru at home in Saskatchewan while I attend Industrial (Vehicle) Design at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. I've never missed an inanimate object more.

Sorry for the long wait, but I hope you enjoy the update! Comments/questions are welcome! Good to be back.

Well, everyone, it's a sad day. I said goodbye to my WRX. I sold her to a young 16 year old who is eager to learn just as I was when I first bought her. I think she went to a good home.

She was my first car and a real joy to own, but it's time to move on. The mileage was getting up there at 170,000kms and as soon as 200,000kms hits, values seem to drop drastically. It was just the right time to sell. I got a good enough chunk of my money back that I can use for something a little better suited for the long run.

But, I have a feeling my life in the Subaru community is not over yet!

Hint: I kept the aluminum rad, OZ wheels, Cobb intake, and Pioneer deck to be put onto a potential new car...updates will follow in the coming months as a new journey begins!

Until then, I'll be wiping my tears with $100 bills

Thanks to everyone who followed this build!
