paint matchhhhh > black :P
This is a discussion on 2004 WRX - Shoopster's build (or rather, repair) thread within the Builds forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; paint matchhhhh > black :P...
Recap cuz I think we're going in circles here:
Current ones are textured. Sanding will kill the texture because there are major scratches.
New ones: I don't want to paint
Thanks! Much appreciated! But, I prefer them unpainted (textured black poly)

Plasti-dip on the license plate delete took a bit of a beating, it seems. Gravel and/or high velocity bug splatter, I guess.
Tore off the Dip and the delete's as good as new, so I'm re-dipping it tonight.
The corners inside the lettering - the X in particular - were a PITA to remove completely; FYI green tape (or blue) does it.
looks good. after having my plate delete on for a year i still have no chips or anything, but the plastidip does help im sure somehow lol. What did u do to make the gold underneath? gold paint? dont think i want to paint my bumper plate area yellow so i think im going to have to paint a piece of thin plastic or something to put behind there... i like it though. ive been tossing that idea around since i got the plate delete, just never took the time to actually do it..
as for the stock exhaust i didnt have time friday so i plan on going tmmrw after work.
The gold is sticker, like for lettering & wrap.
& no hurry for the exhaust, keep me posted.
It would probably require some dismantling for shipping, I'll understand if that's too much of a pain.
& I noticed your scuffless delete... I'd hate to find out the hard way, so, I figure, the dip only takes a few minutes (not counting wait time between coats)
