I installed (and recommend!) DEI's turbo blanket. Unlike the other brands I checked out, this blanket is custom made for each turbo and fits amazingly well. It's not a flat piece of fabric, but is shaped like the housing out of the box. It was a little pricey, around the $200 range, but I absolutely love it. Even after a mountain run or hard day at the track it's still cool to touch. I never even bothered with a heat shield. The fitament is so good that it is tight around the compressor housing to keep the hot air exactly where it needs to be. I can send some pics if you want! Beware that once it's been on and heated up, it's not recommended that you move it as is becomes conformed to the turbo and will be brittle to prying.

That looks pretty nice. Does it interfere with the wastegate arm?

I plan on moving to NC too! What part did you move to? My girlfriend has family in Holy Springs outside of Raleigh so thats where I may end up.

I am currently in Cameron, near Sanford. Wish I was closer to Raleigh.
