Open up the combustion chambers, install STi cams, STi turbo, STi (or better) TMIC, Walbro 255, and 550-650cc injectors.
That's my recommendation. I would also put forged pistons in, ARP rod bolts (maybe h-beams if budget allows, they're much lighter than OEM STi rods), and ARP head studs.. with OEM head gasket.
IMO the td04 is too small for a 2.5L.
^what he said. I say 16g (just my favorite turbo, it's really up to you), but with 750 or greater injectors. Injectors are usually tuner's preference.
Im hella new to the game, so Im doing as much research as possible and asking tons of questions.
As for the turbo, there will always be bigger and better, but Ill be using it more towards a daily.
Yeah, a VF turbo off a STi will be perfect for a daily driver.. $300-$400 used. Otherwise I would recommend a 16g-XT, but for that you're looking at >$1000.
