Looking to upgrade not sure where to start

Ok I'm looking to start making my wrx better. I have a 2011 wrx and I'm not sure where to start. I'm looking for good places to get quality parts as well as good places to start. I'm not only looking for hp. I plan on doing as much to the suspension and breaks as I do to the motor. So any input or suggestions would be great!

I would recommend the suspension upgrade.

Not sure how many miles you have on the ODO but if your springs/damper combo is fine then get the sways and end links swapped out

    Address the brakes

After these mods then consider going stag2

Just my 2 cents but the Suspension and brakes could use a lot of help before adding any power mods on current gen cars

If you live in the mid- Atlantic then there are two shops that l would recommend

Racing Comp Engineering and the lAG

A good place to start is to consider where you think the car is lacking the most.

Do you yearn for smoother power delivery?

Does the body roll make you cringe?

Do you curse at the shifter?

Where to start is kind of subjective, based on what you want the car to do better.

Like Calvinball said, try and figure out what you'd like to change about how she sits now. It helps sometimes to make plans for how much you may want to mod your car before you jump into it so you don't make mistakes with parts later. Like setting a power goal or figuring out what suspension parts you feel you need.

First thing I'm gonna put in is a strut bar but id like to find a good place to be able to pick up any performance part that I want or feel I may need.

    Find a decent speedshop

If not then the Internet is your friend

    My ride is a 2013

It's got the Whiteline 24/22 mm fr/rr heavy duty adjustable sways installed along with the fr/rr endinks from Perrin

You should install the endlinks to really help the sways and to improve the handling dynamics

This set up made a significant difference on my ride

I went with sway bars and endlinks as my first mod. It made a tremendous difference. It seems like the first suspension mod most people do. Where are you located in ohio?

I'm near Columbus. I've been trying to find a club down here but can seem to get a hold of anyone else that has a wrx.

As stated above get some swaybars and end links to get rid of the body roll. Cygnus performance and oakos are both great. I get rediculous deals from them all the time off iwsti

Oakos is a sponsor here, and will give you a deal if you PM them. They have pretty good customer service, and work best over the phone, in my experience. And, if for some reason you get poor service, let me know and I'll drive over there and give them a hard time as they are near my house.
