I was a little vague on that. I had Redline 75W90 NS in the transmission and Redline 75W90 in the rear differential before I changed it. Extra-S is the only thing in both the transmission and rear differential now. I got it over at Brunswick Subaru. 5 quarts is enough for both the transmission and the rear diff. I think its like 3.8 for the transmission and .8 for the rear diff. Make sure you have something to pump the fluid into the differential and a long funnel to get the transmission.

Finally got around to installing the stainless steel brake lines. Wow, what a difference. Those, the fresh ATE brake fluid, and the master cylinder brace have made a tremendous difference. The long, spongy pedal is gone and it finally feels like what I have wanted it to since I got the car. I used a Motive Power Bleeder to bleed the brakes and it made life incredibly easy. No more, "up" "down." It took me about 10 minutes to go around and bleed everything twice. If you are considering replacing your brake fluid, I highly recommend getting one.

Replaced the rear O2 sensor after the wire somehow managed to rub against the drive shaft and get torn in half.

The wheels are powder coated in 20% gloss black. I got a set of Cooper Zeon RS3-S in 245/40R17. Thanks to Torque for the suggestion. These tires really do grip! I may or may not have gone a little overboard on the tire shine...

Thanks. I'm keeping it pretty simple for now. Hopefully down the road I can really build it.

I just ordered a couple of lightly used parts. I got a Group N transmission mount, Group N crossmember bushings, pivot bushings, and a Kartboy short shifter. Can't wait to get them all installed .

I definitely need some more power. M3 stopped in front of me on an on ramp then did a pull. Couldn't keep up . Gonna look to get some power mods next spring (TMIC, injectors, fuel pump, and tune for E85 and 93).

Just installed the parts I ordered recently. Overall, everything went pretty well. Only problem was that a few of the bolts on the rear subframe were rusted and really stubborn.

    Installed the shifter pivot bushing:

Then I moved onto the stuff that was under the car. I started with the transmission mount and cross member bushings. I replaced them with Group-N ones. The crossmember bushings felt so ridiculously flimsy. It was almost pathetic. Then the transmission mount comparison that everyone shows:

clearly a major upgrade. I could flex the stock one extremely easily in my hands. I am not sure if this gap is supposed to be there or not, but it definitely accounts for some of the slop during acceleration:

This is what is looked like all assembled and ready to go back onto the car. It took some finagling to get all the bolts to go in, but nothing too bad. It was nice to have my friend there with a second set of hands.
