So I guess I'll start a new build thread from my previous build threat on another forum which seems to have no activity.
So a few weeks back I purchased a 2006 WRX Limited with 109k on the od. My original intentions for the vehicle was to build it up and give it to my brother when he comes back from Afghan. However, things do change. A year back I made an inquiry about running in the 2012 Bullrun, however at the time of my inquiry it was too late and the race was full. Few days ago, we received a letter in the mail about running in the 2013.... my fiancee and I jumped all over the opportunity to do something special seeing that my 30th is just the corner. What not better way to celebrate the big 30 by driving from Montreal to New Orleans with some of the biggest and baddest cars on the road and partying like a rockstar?
Now, you may ask why in gods name would I try and compete in the bullrun with a WRX? I said why not do something unique and fun. So I reached out and contacted a Akuma Motorsports out of NJ. We came up with a few scenarios but this seems to be the most fun. I am all about doing things different. So here goes nothing.... a little about my build.
Rather then going with your traditional coilover suspension I'll be running an Air Lift Performance setup... functions and handles like a KW V2.

As for wheels I'll be running a set of ADV1 05 DC in a matte black in an 18x10 +35 offset. Here is a set of the wheels....
We recently took a trip up to concord mass and have NHwraps take a peak and spec the car for any paint damage before ordering out new wrap... We are goin to go with a Matte Metallic Purple.... with matte black lettering for our sponsors for the ride....

So on the wrxtuners threat people asked me all sorts questions about the build it took a few days but here is how the motor will be build. Now Akuma Motorsports will be responsible for all aspects of the build... so what I'll do is copy and paste my build see so you can all clearly see how this motor is being built.

GRIM 3 Port Solenoid for Subaru. Plug and play fitment.
Gates timing belt kit. Includes all necessary pullies and

COBB accessport 2004-2006 2.5 Turbo ALL. 2007 WRX
Deatschwerk Fuel Pump, 300LPH.
COSWORTH Subaru Hi Volume inlet manifold from Cosworth.
Increased plenum volume on this cast aluminum piece.
Fuel Injector Clinic Hi Impedance top feed injectors.
Made with NEW Bosch ball/seat style injectors. Flow
tested, balanced to 900cc.
