Just got home and it has a rich smell to it. I literally just got home from having it installed if that matters to the reasoning but why would this be? I assume its because the ECU hasn't learned the new exhaust yet? I mean I was told I don't need a tune for SPT exhaust to be installed as it is made specifically for the specs of the stock car.

    Input appreciated!

The ECU doesn't "learn" anything from the exhaust. When you say it "has a rich smell to it", you talking from behind? In cabin?

Okay good. I figured there had to be a break in period just didn't expect that potent smell. It wouldn't be running rich though right? Its stock other than SPT exhaust

    A catback doesn't affect fueling.

So it couldn't be anything else other than the exhaust breaking in?

Its only outside. It is pretty potent when near the car though.

+1 . Probably the case. New exhausts smell for a bit.

thats what i was hoping to hear. thanks a lot guys for the quick responses. exhaust sounds nice. a little more drone in the cabin than i had expected but usually only in low rpm. once i open it up a little bit its a good mild sound and at idol its as quiet as stock.
