2013 SWP WRX SEDAN


So, I had been looking at the GTI and the WRX. The GTI was cheaper, more efficient and whatnot, but the WRX, well, frankly, was awesome. So the WRX it was. Then I had originally wanted a hatch WRX but I just personally thought the sedan was better looking. So the WRX sedan it was. SWP wasn't my first choice as I really liked Plasma Blue, but there were no Plasma Blue's. I had then come across a SWP being sold at invoice for about $25,500 while the others were about $27K. So on October 13th, 2012 it was delivered to my house and I couldn't still be happier.

Nice.... Great choice the VW I would consider over a WRX is probably the R32. I've been trying to trade my winged trunk lid and no look, I've inquired with body shop and they quoting me $950 to bondel holes and repaint trunk dammm I can upgrade my tmic with $950

Looking good. Actually I like the base trunk with the M3 style lip spoiler better. (I have the Premium spoiler too).

I also wanted to plastidip my rims as well as my fog surrounds.

I also changed some of the lighting. I changed the interior map light/dome light to red LED's. It looks great because it coincides with the gauges, footwell illumination, etc. I also changed the license plate lights to LED's. And I put a blacklight in the trunk. They look great in person at night. These pictures do no justice whatsoever!

Awesome, I was in the same boat as you: GTI vs. WRX. Would've been able to get the GTI at such a great price, but I just plain enjoyed the WRX more. I should be getting my SWP sedan before the end of the year, so I'll be following your build!
