Yeah the GTI's are very cheap but wrx all the way! And I like my overlays; they look better than the stock tails IMO. They're pretty easy to install too and they're cheap (got mine for $45)

Update pic. I redid the tail light overlays and got darker ones, fully debadged it, and also put on the NP ABE Muffler delete (3'' Dual Wall Staggered tips.)

Ordered a Tomei Expreme Catless DP from Rallysportdirect. It was $245 shipped! I love Black Friday. So should be here this week. Also ordered a Cobb intake but I'm going to let my family give that to me as a gift for X-mas. And my Cobb AP arrived today, just waiting for 2013 support which will be released at the end of the week. Stage 2 here I come!

So today I went to Stage 1! The power increase is incredible. My Tomei Catless DP also came today. I'll be putting it on tomorrow and will subsequently go to Stage 2.

I must say, after a week of this setup (Catless DP w/ Muffler Delete) I hate it. Sure it sounds real nice when you get on it and you're having some fun, but for everyday use it's just too much. My cold starts sound like a diesel truck and it just attracts too much attention IMO. So I think I should ditch the muffler delete and go for a more conservative catback. I don't want quiet but I don't want ear deafening. I think a Q300 with my Tomei Catless DP will be a nice alternative. From what I've seen the Q300's are fairly quiet until you get on it, which is what I want.

That is... really loud. I've driven around with a loud car, and it's definitely cool part-time, but I wouldn't want to commute or DD with that setup either.

So, I put the stock mufflers back on and I like it a lot more. A lot quieter but not too much.

I got the Q300 Ti Tips and put it on today! It sounds great! Install took a couple hours or so. I'll put pics and a sound clip as soon as I can.
