    wreckingball man's 2002 WRX

Hey Everybody. I've been stalking this forum for not too long now and I'd like to get some feedback or some suggestions on the direction of my car. I came from the Acura RSX community and one thing I've noticed is WRX and STi community is much more Functional/performance oriented. There's not a lot to do with our cars visually. Just some thoughts.
Everyone's ideas and critiques will be considered as I'm not to certain where to go from here with my car.
So here it is. Full mod list will be posted soon. Let me know what you think.

We roll as a Hell-functional posse.
I know what you mean, I post else where at a non-car forum and always butt heads with the Civic and MR2 guy...
Welcome man but I gotta ask, don't your tires rub with that setup?
Nice Bugeye man, don't forget to waive!

nice bugeye. So far it looks great. I like the stance of it, but the front looks a big higher than the back. what suspension setup are you on?

also, coming from the Scion world, this is def a place where performance is put in front of good looks. However not to the point of the honda kids where we roll around with bondo and primer all over our cars and think it's ok.

    wreckingball man's 2002 WRX

    Thank you for the welcomes.

To answer some questions, my tires only rub when going over big "u" shaped dips at highway speeds. I dont rub or scrape hardly ever, and I live in downtown with very rough streets and lots of hills. I have no front lip and a moderate drop. So the only thing that ever really rubs are the mud flaps on the ground.

I do have a muffler. My exhaust is catless and straight all the way through, but i have the stock muffler on. Honestly, i just like the looks of it. And it makes the exhaust smoother. It's just a warm sounding setup. I really like it a lot.

I run a little bit of negative camber. It's 17" Rota Torques on 245/40 tires. KYB GR2 struts, STi Pink Springs. I absolutely love it. also have some sway bars and endlinks. Very comfortable setup for regular driving too. And the front is not higher, It's an equal drop all around. The rear fenders are just lower than the fronts. And in the parking lot pic, there's a big dip under the rear wheels lol. You can see from the pic in the grass that it sits level.

Black out how? The housing? or the lenses?
I would be down for blacked out housing ("Fuji Style" i believe)...maybe after i restore the foggy lenses and see what they look like cleaned up.

Yes, the housings. Bake the headlights, separate the lenses from the housings, paint the chrome parts black, put it back together.

    STi Grill/hood scoop too!
