Also on the agenda is using that Gold Reflective tape on the Process west and the KS Tech intake that I have acquired.
Maybe I missed it... Did you end up grabbing an EWG kit? You'll probably be having mad boost creep issues otherwise =/

Yes, Grimmspeed Uppipe with a 38mm Tial WG. Bought it off a friend, it is still on his car until his rotated kit comes in. I also bought his 73MM KS Tech intake but I'm hesitant to put that on because of heatsoak.

Naaaaaaahhhh - Race cars are too fast for heat soak.

This thread has made me laugh more than any other one on here, so I had to say something to get subscribed.

    Keep it up.

I talked to Ron about that and he said I could but at that point I should just run Speed Density.

I would be more worried about losing MAF scaling resolution... which is kinda annoying. I know most of our tables have more resolution than needed (or wanted), but when modeling a curve with a table... it's always nice to have some more space.

I'm confused why you are worried about heat soak? The KS Tech intakes are CAIs, last I checked (I have their stock sized one). I wouldn't worry about moving the IAT sensor now - it's impacts are pretty insignificant in a MAF based system like ours. If you switched to speed density, I would be much more concerned about both location and the sensor speed, as the math performed in SD tuning relies pretty heavily on an accurate IAT reading.

I'm worried about heat soak because South Florida Climate. The stock intake would dissipate/absorb less heat compared to the metal KS Tech.

Reflective tape. Not the most aesthetically pleasing thing, but functional.
