I honestly think you will be happier in the long run. Red is a color that bleeds out and the factory red on the calipers doesn't look great for long

Okay. So the brake swap came out great and went smoother than I could have ever hoped for. Took about 3 hrs with the help of my dad.

Couple shots of them. I will add a write up soon.

I believe you told me, and I quote:

"People will make fun of you if you paint your calipers"

Admittedly, you actually got better ones, but still.

In all seriousness, it looks GOOD! Goes with your mudflaps too!

I said that in reference to the stock ones!!!! Thanks man. I am very pleased with the finished project.

Pay attention. I will be posting a write up on this install with high resolution pictures over the next couple days.

    update on the brakes

First impression on the brakes was an immediate improvement. I can't say for sure if it is due to the calipers or the pads and new fluid, or maybe all of them combined. I will say that the way the brakes grab is a completely different feeling. the pedal feels 1,000,000% better. I am going to chalk this up to the combination of the three put together and I can't wait to see what stainless lines and a master cylinder brace will do, although I don't believe it is necessary at this point. Either way the project was a 100% win and I feel great about it.

The brakes look way better behind the wheels and I strongly feel that this is the way the car should have been from the factory. I'll never understand why they put these brakes on the 06-07 and then stopped all together.

I'm waiting for the camera cable to upload the high quality pictures of the install I took. If any of you 08+ guys are looking to do a brake upgrade then I believe this is the easiest way to go. There was no trimming of the dust shield or adapting the brake lines. With the bracket for the rears from KNS it was 100% bolt on and go. No clearance issues with the fronts or rears.

Further I would like to take a minute to say how awesome the guys from KNS Brakes are! They are professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. If anyone needs brake parts I would recommend KNS without hesitation.

Yes I am running the stock cat back. It has been proven to flow just fine. I don't want the added noise

Thanks. I just went back to stock size because i kept getting pulled over and harassed. i was worrying if my mods would do more harm than good. Im not gonna try to turbo upgrade on stock cat back but stage 2 plus some extras sounds good.

I don't know what year your car is. Judging by your profile pic it looks like an 06. I can not speak for the flow characteristics of they model but if it is a newer 11+ I can assure you it flows just fine. Good luck bro
