    Finished my compression test today:

    Cyl 1: 155 PSI
    Cyl 2: 159 PSI
    Cyl 3: 152 PSI
    Cyl 4: 157 PSI

Very good for a 10 year old modified car with 100K miles on it!

    Cyl 2:

So the engine is VERY healthy... that's a good sign.

"pretty easy" for you who seems to know his way around a car. i work with drugs and people, legally speaking and have little to no experience in working on cars, especially my own. i've put almost 20k miles on my wrx since i bought it used last november and i'm still learning things as i go along. as far as modding goes i hope to build a good relationship with a local tuner and start strengthening my car from the ground up

Well that's subjective. I'm still learning myself. When I first bought my Subaru approx. 6 years ago, I knew nothing about cars or how to work on them. It takes time and patience, and a lot of broken bolts, but you'll get the hang of it over time.

    A little fun stuff!

Since I've installed my AEM UEGO WBO2 sensor, I haven't had a data output for PC. So here it is!

I integrated the serial port into the back of my glovebox. All I need do is open the glovebox and plug a serial cable into the port should I wish to datalog:

    Installed one of these today:

I was cruising on the highway and passing a semi in boost while it was raining last week. Needless to say I thought I had blown my motor for a second. We'll see how this works.

A nice little device I built today... I'm going to track down my boost leak once and for all! Ideally, I would do this with a shop air compressor, but since I don't have the luxury, I'll have to resort to the trickle-pressure of a tire pump .

Im pretty sure those are the donuts we use to tie our drain pipes into old cast iron hubs. Be careful not to let the PVC piece pop out while your pushing the rubber donut in.

Yep! No worries, it worked just fine. Meanwhile, I have found the source of my woes... indeed I have a large boost leak post-throttle body.
