Much better! I would have left just the WRX, but to each their own.

    Thanks!

Yeah, I know some people like the wrx on there, but I think it looks lonely by itself

I just like a nice clean back end (that's what I said)

How is the "wrx" on the front grill attached?

We didn't get one on the front.

Darn. Without trying real hard, I can see there seems to be some clips of some sort. I don't want to go yanking on anything without knowing what I'm getting into (TWSS)

Nice thing about having a old wagon - I have never been asked if it was an STi.

My buddy, who is really my only gearhead friend, suggested painting the "wrx" in the fender trim piece red. I told him no freakin way, people'd think I was trying to be a STI.

Are there lots of wrx owners who try to pretend they're sti's? Coming from the RSX world, the only way you could tell if it was a base or a type s was to look at the brakes or the tailpipe. I guess since they gave the wrx the same body that there is much more potential for fakes.

I believe you have to remove the grill/front bumper assembly and then you can get it right off. Another member did it in his picture thread I think..

I've seen people paint their badges, doesn't look terrible if done right.

I've seen both, people who have wrxs trying to look like STIs as well as people who bought wrxs and did Soo much to them, its now a modified Sti.

Hopefully no one ever thinks I'm trying to pretend I have an STI. If that happens...I did it wrong.

Some old threads are worth bumping now and then - that isn't one of them though!
