    04 WRX build

Traded my xj for this wrx, and of course couldn't leave it alone lol.

    Got it like this:

Came with 3" turbo back, aps 65mm CAI, unknown stage I tune, stock boost.
    Took it to a Autox

Got a good deal on some ISC N1 coilovers, 10k front 8k rear:

    Then got wheels/tires, went with 17x9 +35 grids with 255/40/17 rs3's.

Also put in a MBC and retuned the car spiking 19.5 and holding ~15, feels way better lol.

Broke them in with another Auto X,

End plans with the car is going to be a ~40lb/min rotated setup (I tig weld so I can make pretty much w/e) and way better brakes lol. Would like to get ~350whp and take it to some road courses. But these are all down the line, about to finish school and find a real job, but once I get settled, this should be getting updated pretty regularly.

Thats all for now, I'll update this as I get more stuff, got a 3 way solenoid and some audio stuff coming this week

Okay so you must be from Tally. FSU in the username and the TI tape give it away lol.

    Am I right?

If so, what's up! I grew up in Tally and just moved away like 2 years ago.

    BTW car looks great!

I hope you know that the stock bottom end and transmission will probably not hold up for your goals.
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

Thanks man. Yeah I go to school at FSU lol. I'm from Orlando though, probably heading back when I graduate. Are you a member on tallyimports?

I don't know what makes you say that. I have heard of transmission issues at that power level but personally know of a few making pretty close to 350awhp on a mustang dyno that have been going strong for quite some time (stock trans and clutch too!)

Nope, I never got into the Tally scene. Although I have a friend who is on there. He just built up a Turbo Integra...again lol.

Eh it's not *too* much of a scene. I was pretty shocked when I moved up here coming from Orlando. You wouldn't happen to be talking about Floyd would you? lol

It honestly depends on the driver and his/her driving style. There are some that have pushed the 2003-2007 tranny upwards of 350 wtq while those that have blown the tranny at stock power levels. The EJ205, however, will have a very difficult time making more than 300whp for very long... expect rod failure in the near future and set aside $$ for a rebuild.
