Well my buddy just called me and informed me that they have my engine completely out and torn apart and that they will start to reassemble it tomorrow. He said the heads and everything else on the engine look brand new! He was impressed apparently.

ask them to verify that around the spark plug holes there isn't any starring/ or cracks. It's common on aluminum heads apparently.

He said it looked fine, I just asked him. I also forgot to mention that they are also putting the killerb oil pickup and my Group N Engine mounts I used to be trying to sell...lol, and a new timing belt and all the stuff that goes along with that.

Well, now for the break in period! I got it all back...it sounds a little different at idle and stuff but I think that has to do with the CP Pistons and it vibrates a little more now...lol...that has to do with the Group N Motor Mounts I'm sure!

Eh...it was never actually broken...just had very low compression so I have been driving it up til the day I took it in. I don't drive it much though, I usually drive my Jetta.
