    Impreza Center Armrest Extension 2008-2011

Install was a breeze, took about 5 minutes. All in all i'm pretty happy with the armrest extension. Now the left armrest and right armrest are level and more comfortable. As it was before, my right elbow would sit lower than my left elbow. Only gripe is that Subaru should have made it this way out of the factory. Instead, it was a $114 upgrade for me.

Impreza Roof Carrier Cross bar kit 2008-2011, INNO Medium Faring

I chose the OEM rack vs. Yakima or Thule because of the price. $158 for this rack isn't bad considering I'd pay over $300 for the Yakima or Thule. I've got a Thule Atlantis box ready to mount up to it, just waiting for the snow. The Inno Fairing is the only fairing that is compatible with the OEM rack without any modification. So that was an easy decision. Looks good, IMO.

Sharp Car! The stiffer shifter bushing is a good buy. I had one on my 11 impreza. Now its waiting to go onto my 12 wrx once it gets here. I would recomend the front bushing too. It makes a huge difference in the way the shifter feels

Good lookin car! I'm a big fan of roof racks...so well done!

I also agree that the extended arm rest is a must. I had one on my 2007 STI. I need to find one to put on my 2005 STI now, but my money has other priorities.

What part of San Fran are you in? I've visited there the last two years as my close friend in Philly is from out there. Awesome city.

Do you gain an additional compartment with that armrest extension? Also, is it lined with anything or is it just plastic like the stock piece?

    Good looking car!

The armrest itself does not have an additional storage compartment, which i was hoping for. I recall my 02 WRX having an extra storage area in the extension. The piece is actually nicer than the stock armrest as it has a nicer, more elegant finish. It's a smooth, black vinyl texture.

Your car looks great! I'm really great I found this thread! I have been wrestling over which roof rack system to buy and your thread helped make my decision. I'll definitely be going with the factory system. Quick question. Which size Inno fairing did you buy? I think I want my fairing a little longer than what you got. Thanks and enjoy the ride!

^Thanks! I have the medium fairing. It almost covers the rack end to end. There's about an inch of uncovered space on both ends.

Thanks! I'm wondering if the large would be too long then. I want to try and cover the whole front of the rack. Guess I'll give Inno a call.
