James, he blew a radiator so his minor amount of mod money went to that so sell it to Rambo. Why can't I remember Rambos name.

That would actually be a super cool swap, however, I don't think it would fit. I was reading about some swaps over on NASIOC, and just trying to wedge a 2.5 in there takes some frame modification.

I had a very productive day. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking
It started to get hot, so I brought out my canopy just to keep us a bit cooler.
And it's out!
After that we decided to move on to the STI. Time to free up the drive line by pulling it from under the car. It was a bit nerve racking, but we got it down and onto some furniture dollies and we can move it around nice and freely.
Once it was dropped onto the dollies, we used the rear jack stands as pivot points to lift the front end up and slide the motor/trans out.
And it's out!
That was my stopping point today. We did all that work in under 4 hours. Thanks to Justin and Joe for the help!

Jimmy are you doing any maintenance to the STI motor while it's out?
Definitely suggest doing the big bitch items while it's out. Fresh pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, timing belts seals..

No, because it's going to come back out shortly after I get it running.
I 100% agree with you but like I said, it's coming back out for a build where all the stuff will get redone anyway.And I am using the 6 speed, I just dropped the trans today.
