    Alright so Ive got the brakes situated, I am closing in on the suspension, still need to do sways, links and bushings..

    So here I am an OTS Stage 2 map. I think I will keep the stock turbo, if not something very daily friendly maybe faster spool up. Here is what I am planning on doing, go ahead and critique or add too.

    Port and Polish manifold ends
    cross pipe
    large up pipe
    turbo inlet
    tgv delete
    750cc injectors
    FMIC
    EBCS

    That should put down some solid numbers. Although I would go for some tubular headers over the PnP option. But that's just me.

    Bo you're primed for a 16G or 18G...if you're already doing an FMIC, injectors, pump, and other breathability mods, then why leave out the Turbo? That VF52 will run out of steam relatively quickly compared to one of the other options above.

    You're doing the opposite of half the morons coming in here lately who are just slapping on a Turbo without supporting mods. You're doing the supporting mods without the turbo?

    EDIT: Bahaha I missed the obvious! Clearly the 2008 had the same LGT type intake, and that was running a MHI TD04-19T...

    I wouldn't bother with a turbo less than a 20G when you already have a VFXX

    Blouch has the 380XT/440XT variants, which are comparable to the 18G/20G

    My thought on keeping the turbo stock was to keep the dd reliability intact but still getting the most out of it. I could up the turbo but to what? A 1.5xtr is going to need a bottom end at some point and the same with a 20g.

    +1. Especially with the front mount. I'd go process west top mount if you want to stay with the stock turbo long term.

    May at least want to give yourself some more injector clearance. I dunno what the stockers are in mine, but they are at 95% duty cycle from about 4500-6000 rpm to put it in perspective. I run around 11 afr. If I went 11.5 I'd probably be closer to 90%. 10.5 for MAF tuning is between 95-100%.

    There are a lot of people running moderate sized stock turbos over on iwsti. Most just toss in forged pistons when the stock ones blow. A lot of them are still on the stock pistons actually. Worst case you build the block up a bit down the road .

    So I have decided to switch a portion of this and go with an EWG set up. My problem with the top mount is its price, I really like that brand but the price of top mounts for these cars is ridiculous and I love the look my limited has with that big ass intercooler up front. I know the benefits of staying tmic but not sure it really is that much better. Plus I honestly think with a turbo swap the FMIC would be a better choice.

    If you upgrade the turbo at all, I'd agree with the FMIC completely.

    I still think that the top mount loses a huge amount of efficiency at speed. I think pressures under the hood just prevent air from flowing well.

    We will see which way things end up, but I'd like to find where this one goes. Brandon your maxing out stock 565cc injectors which is common with even stage 2 vf43 cars. 750cc is a decent jump don't you think? For nominal mods over stage 2? Maybe 850cc?
