Weight loss is equivalent to power gain. That weight loss probably has bumped you to 400 ft/lbs torque. Your transmission is gonna asplode!!1!

    LOL S--t! I forgot about that! Uh-oh.

...all kidding aside, the whole assembly is actually quite heavy. I was a bit surprised by the weight of it when I got it off.

Do you remember what size plug you used to delete the rear wiper?

Its a combination of a 1/2" pvc hose plug and a grommet. Unfortunately I can't remember the size the the grommet that I grabbed from Advance Auto. I eventually want to make that look cleaner and one plug, but Home Depot failed me.

Funny, I was thinking of having them powdercoated. Suggestions?

I'd go something more colorful. I mean I'm a fan of black wheels and they do look good on your car, but you could have had any wheel be black on a white car and it look similar, just because it doesn't stand out as much. You don't get to observe the shape of the wheel as much as another color that's easier to see.

If you're gonna spend money on a sexy set of Work wheels, let the people see them!

    I'd choose orange

I'm not a fan of the flashy colors, but I feel ya. I've been told by quite a few people that my wheels, for being as pricey and sexy as they may be, don't really "pop" or stand out at all.

I've been thinking about a few different colors. Mag blue is definitely up there on the list. -

I think the wheels look great...But I am also not much of a fan for the flashy colors either.

Hmm hard to tell from that picture, but if it resembles chrome I personally wouldn't do it. I think shiny chrome wheels look dumb on subarus. BUTTTTT...If that is what you like then you should do it! I like the idea of the mag blue too!

Yeah, I'm with ya. Now that I think about it, it's a little too blingy for a subie.

I love the color they are, but I must say, care for anodized aluminum is a HUGE pain in the ass. It's actually one of the main reasons I'm even considering powdercoating them at all.
