800 plus the cost of the brackets and paint. I ran into a killer deal on the calipers and rotors.

Clutch for sure. I actually like the 5 speed gearing better for daily driving so PPG 1 and 2 will probably happen sometime in the future.

The build part of the process is done. This is a crappy iPhone pic. The red couplers are going to be switched out to black as they do not match the intake manifold. Perrin makes it look like they do in their pictures...but they really don't. Good think silicone is cheap.

I'll obviously be taking some real pictures later.

Well done, man! A black Perrin strut bar and black Subtle Solutions shrouds would do wonders for that engine bay.

Also, just a question - Why the switch to the STI intake manifold?

Thanks! I wanted the STI pipe routing so there wasn't a big exposed area above the motor.

Low boost map until the EBCS is installed. Only hitting around 16 pounds right now. Tune by Doug at TopSpeed Motorsports.

Is it bumpy because you are running on low boost?

No. Drivability is great. I just haven't unleashed the full potential of the build yet.

I like what you've done with your WRX. I have a question for you. I'm thinking of getting the SMY cluster with the Prosport guages for my WRX. I was wondering how far you have to pull your steering colum out once installed? I couldn't really tell from your pictures. I love the look and location of the cluster, but don't want to end up in a weird driving position if you have to pull the steering colum out too far.

    Thanks for you help!

You don't have to. I naturally have my steering wheel out. At 6'1", that is my best attack position.

Just keep some money handy for a new block because at the power levels you're talking about your motor isn't going to last long!

does KNS now sell the rear rotors/brackets?
What brake lines did you use?
I assume your rear calipers were 2004-2007?
What did you strip and paint them with?

They do. 08+ STI rotors drilled for 5x100 and their adapters.
    Stock lines.
05-07 I believe is the year range. Mine were 07's.
