I also don't think you guys realize that on the DCCDPro, the Auto still uses the wheel. There are varying degrees of how aggressive "Auto" is. So I can vary between all the way open, and all the way locked with AUTO on, and it'll adjust based on inputs.

I think so... I'll tell you in a couple weeks. It's 30* out, and the hood was opening extremely slowly. But closing it was super easy. Easier than I expected.

Btw... they're actually made by ProSport.

I'd recommend them as well...you'd be surprised how much the hood prop support got in the way when I worked on my first STI. Once I got my Tein dampers, no longer a problem

Any tips on that STi cluster you installed? I have an 04 cluster ready to go. Would really appreciate it.

    BTW, great build

Kevin (Sinister) can give you a more simple answer but until he gets back on here is a read that may help

Yeah, I've been up and down that thread several times, while it does have great information. I just wanted to ask someone with the same body style how the install went in regards to Cutting Pin#C9, and moving over cruise control pins etc.

Yeah I run the DCCDpro deluxe version with the Man/Auto version and it uses the oem on /off and scroll buttons. As well as the STi dash DCCD lights. I noticed early on that Auto mode is well auto but its a controlled auto. And you can set the maxumum limits in auto mode. You can see under acceleration what level the auto dccd is at by the STi dash DCCD lights. I think its one of the best aftermarket parts for a WRX.

I will say that the last time I was out at the track and my DCCD lost power. I was 2 seconds faster with the center diff in default mode. Locked 50/50 But to be fair I also have aftermarket front and rear 1.5 lsd in my car. I think with oem STi diffs it would be a different story. As the front STi diff is more of a open diff. I still really like my DCCDpro and I recommend it to anyone doing a swap.

If you have a oem hood, No worries. If you have a carbon hood, I have seen and heard others crack their hoods using the hood struts as it can place high stress on the hood just past the hinges.

Go to sears and get the pin removal tool. Then just pop them out and move them over. I think there is more to move. I put an 05 STi cluster in my 06 wrx. And I had to move a bunch of wires. And trim a plug. Not so sure I would do it all over again.
