Holy Smokes... I've never made one of these. I should have. I've had the car since 2006 when I got back from Iraq. Kind of a present to myself. Since then it's been a massive money pit... Incredibly fun... and an insane learning project. I've finally got the funds, room, and garage together to be able to turn her into a toy that I can drive to work, and then to the track! Should be a fun close to 400whp e85 beast :D

I've gotten almost all of the parts from WRXPro.com, TiC, and a few from RallySportDirect.

Update:
Just got done with the new tune. Made 430/429whp

Almost the whole engine is finished being put together. Setting up the perrin fuel rails in a clean fashion was super difficult.

I screwed up one of the connectors for my new ID1000's... Kinda pissed.

I think I'm going to cut off the TGV cables.

it's in. I'm not done... but the engine is in. This time around I put everything on the engine (tgv's manifold, injectors, rails, turbo, and up pipe) before I installed it. Best idea ever. I was able to get the turbo on correctly so much easier than last time when the engine was still in the bay.

As a matter of fact... I'd argue that it's easier to pull the engine to do the up pipe and big stock location turbo install than it is to do it on the block.

Thanks!

Got the fuel system (perrin fuel rails) almost all the way finished. In typical me style, I didn't have any of the fuel lines exposed... so unless you know what you're looking for... you'd probably never know the difference.

Got the PS pump, Alternator, and AC compressor all installed as well as the radiator. Tomorrow will hopefully be quick.

I was, but then I talked to Eric Meinhart from torqued performance. He's giving me a hell of a deal on doing a break in map, a road tune of 91, and e85, and then dyno touch up of both of those.

Plus, he's the kind of guy that seems like he'll let me pick his brain the entire time, and... All of my maps are going to be accesstuner race maps. So I can edit them as I please.

Hey Kevin. You need any help in the next few days? I don't have my kids so I could stop by. Send me a text if you're interested!
