They don't tell you that you literally have to take the TGVs, entire wiring harness, the full fuel system out at the same exact time as the intake manifold.

Plus in the 06.5+ you have the Vac system to take out before you even touch the manifold.... That was a giant pain as well.

i know the feeling. went through that crap a few weeks ago.

it's at lot easier to put it back on though, and after doing it the first time, it seems like it would be easier if you ever have to do it again.

Hope you didn't confuse your work beer and your coolant beer...that'd probably be worse than if you forgot which bottle was your spitter

Yeah I did the intake manifold myself and it was definitely the hardest part of the car. You do have to take literally everything off the top end of the engine. Some of those bolts were extremely hard to get to as well. I ended up having to bend a bracket or two to get at some of the bolts.

Bump. Exhausted. Did 12hrs today. Assembled new intake manifold/tgv/fuel setup gently so I didn't mess up the grimmspeed coating. Replaced fogs. Removed full exhaust system. Removed turbo. Installed shifter bushings (f/r). Installed group n tranny mount. Wheeeeeww tired!!
