I will probably be going back to Monterey California again soon to work with my Dad at least untill I can find something that is worth making a commitment to, and he has a machine shop which I hope to make brakets for the brake ducts while I am there. I am planning to make rear ducts also that will be fairly small but useful if you were doing some track days in standard impreza STI !
Monterey is nice. Laguna Seca in your backyard. sounds like you dad has a decent setup.
I know you have the STi, and the 22B. any chance the ducts you are going to make will work for a regular WRX? I have an 05 wagon, so it is a little different, doesn't have the same bodywork (flares and such)

The ducts will be specific to the 04 05 STI. I am not sure if I will make any other versions. I will get a set done for my car and see where the project goes from there.

There was a VERY nice turbo SS on Nasioc recently. Did you get that one?

No I purchased the car out of Texas and it will need some work but it has a very clean interior and engine bay. I will get it next Wednesday or Thursday depending on the shipping company. I am Trying to find an RS RA Legacy in Japan or New Zealand as I really want to build one car out of two. It will be something very unique as it will be L.H.D. The RA is probably a more hard to find model than my 22B so it will be a challange to find a nice one of that age. I am not sure how much I will do to this car but I will probably get bumper covers and a new grill and repaint the wheels gold and maybe some nice front seats. I will have to plan this one as I don't want to spend too much until I know for sure if I will get an RA. I will start a thread as soon as it arrives and I get pictures!

Ok Guys here she is, it is a 1991 Subaru Legacy Sport which is a 2.2 litre Turbo all wheel drive 5 speed transmission. I already have people looking for an rs ra in Japan and will also extend my search to N.Z. This should be a great project. I plan on painting the wheels gold as soon as I get it and replacing the bumper covers which are damaged and getting a new grill.

well as long as it is as good as it looks I will start the project almost right away, I have priced new tires and will paint the rims British racing gold almost immeadiately, I have a vision for what I want it to look like, I will look it over and then order the parts I need and go from there, but as usual I will try take some pictures and hopefully get a thread up and running soon!

I am sorry I have not been able to post much on the forum lately, the legacy has turned out to be a huge project and a lot of dissapointments as well as some good surprises, anyway here is a link to the NASIOC so you can take a look at the legacy project so far. I will of course start one here on this forum when I have less to do and I can organise the thread properly....please take a look at the link When OCD meets opportunity.....The 1991 Legacy Turbo Project - NASIOC

wow, bummer to hear about the deception from the dealer. that sucks.
It looks like a good car overall, with the few exceptions. but after seeing some pics of the work you have done, I have a feeling you will have this car looking and running better than new in a matter of time. good luck. can't wait to see more pics

Wow things are looking great! Must be nice to be able to just pull things apart and rebuild them as easily as you can
