Hey, you know I was thinking. I need to store my car for a while. Maybe it would be better if you just took care of it for me. You can drive it, and fix it up, whatever you want to do.

I have also restored several other cars, two Ford GT40s chassis #1018 and chassis J11 and a Ferrari bb512 LM which was also the last 512 LM race car ever built. I have also restored an 86 March and an 83 March IndyCar and a Lola T70 Endurance car,and a Brabham BT18 and a 94 Lola Indycar. I would like to start a thread to post pictures of these restorations, unfortunately a lot of the pictures I have are actually photographs I would have to scan, but not sure if it would be of interest on this forum. Is there anyone interested in seeing pictures of any of these projects? I may start a thread on restoration project pictures!

here are a few of the pictures of my other projects, the GT40 and the 86 march in the background that I restored.
Discount tires took a look at the rear tire that has less than 9000 miles on it and said it was a seperation issue, and would replace the tire for free as it is a manufacturer issue and that will be $87.00 thanks. I also complained that because of the wear I felt it was not a good Idea to just replace the one tire and they will not help at all on that, There is clearly too much wear to replace just one. The quote to do both was over $300.00. I spent $1100 less than a year ago. Well I guess that is how it goes now days, I am glad that the problem got me into looking at bearings and doing this project and the struts that were clunking like crazy are fixed which is great but the prospect of spending more money right now is not good!
So they where going to replace the tire for free due to a manufacture defect, and charge you to $87?
Maybe they could have shaved the tire to be the same height as the other ones?
Those are cool projects! Moar!![]()

Do you build the cars from the ground up?
