I have been told they will fit. Now I might be one of the only people to try this. I guess it they don't its dry sump time. I just dont want to dump that much into the car right now.

So I'm thinking of ditching my nt03's and going with bronze volk ce28n in 17x10 or 18x10.5 +18 offset

I have always loved the Volks. damn it.. I need to make a for sale thread ...

Sorry but 9.5" or 10" wide is stupid.

Not when you have the fenders to fill with them. As the car set up finishes and gets set up.

My part time job, used to be full time. Is a race tire engineer. So I wouldnt say those sizes are stupid.
The rim width is used to work with the width of tire to help set the spring rate of that given sidewall. There are a few other things that also tie in, But I'll keep it simple. I'm going wide for two reasons. Well three, Performance is number one,I hope to have the power and brakes to put them to good use. 2nd to fill my fenders, 3rd agressive look. And I might add that I do not need to run agressive negative camber.

Now people that are just into looks, ok then yes, might be a waste of money to have a chrome vf39 pushing some big wheels.. But thats what they want. So they do it.

I don't care what you do or did for a living. The reason you want to go that wide is to fill the fenderwells, you just said so yourself. Have fun with the tire/wheel choice, hope it isn't daily driven. Your motor will be fun it is very similar to mine. Good luck man.

If you're a 'race tire engineer', then you should understand why the wheels in the specifications you want are a bad idea.
