My silliness aside, I asked Tristan a part quesiton that most people don't even care about and he went out of his way to call up SOA for the right answer. Now I'll have the part at my office on Tuesday. KoP = the shazz!

Picked up an spt turbo heat shield, spt strut brace, and an spt intake from these guys. also got some oem parts for real cheap!! (Bought an item for around $70 when it cost $113 from another dealership). I'm never buying parts anywhere else! Tristan is the man!

I ordered my Turbo Heatshield on the 15th of May...got it on the 17th of May. These guys are really awesome to do business with because they actually respond to their emails in a prompt manner, and they are really nice. I give Tristan and his crew a big .

I just saw this thread for the first time.

Tristan is the man. I ordered the 4 pot brake system from him and they were shipped in a matter of a day. No issues, nothing missing, just what the doctor ordered. Best experience i've had buying a part thus far. Bar none!

Keep up the good work Tristan!

Matt

A little issue with the parts being shipped, but they are on their way, and Tristan took care of me. Will let you know how they come when they get here, but so far good customer service. Quick response to emails.

Yeah hes absolutey right about the shipping. I want to actually address that here for everyone.

We have just aquired Cobb Tuning as a product line, and Im sure you all have seen before that getting this highly popular - quality product to the shelf can be a little exasperating, which is why a lot of companies don't keep it. We are pleased to have the Cobb lineup and will always offer it - but ask that you do allow some time for the product to get to you.

As all know - we will keep you up to date with any questions you have during the process, but its just tough with the Cobb lineup in particular.
Currently Cobb orders get filled in about 2 weeks.

But our mbs627 is still waiting for his Cobb brake upgrade (should be here today ) and I just want all to be aware!

Just picked up my front & rear perrin sways, endlinks, spt heat shield and
tein bonnet dampers from jeremy and tristan and I have to say that
dealing with you guys was awesome!

Thanks Jeremy for getting the stuff together for me this morning so that i
could pick it up this afternoon. You guys will definitely be getting more of
my business in the future!

I'll post up install pics from the install-party tonight when we're done.

Tristan... Just got all my stuff... been outta town for a bit.

The Cobb Sways look gorgeous and solid. The perrin endlinks look well made. I can't wait to install the pink springs.

I already installed the turbo heat shield and the radiator shroud

The rad shroud fit perfect and was an easy 2 minutes job.

The heat shield on the other hand was a pain in the butt. It doesn't fit 06's perfectly. The Y pipe on the 06 non-sti makes so much contact w/ the shield that you can't match the intercooler bolt up w/o the shield being ****-eyed. I used some foam and bent and twisted the heat shield to various degrees and finally got it to fit right. But it isn't a perfect fit. It does look smashing though.

Thanks bro. I'll keep the site updated on the pinks/sways with a pictorial

That's not your main turbo heat shield... It's supposed to be used in conjunction with your stock turbo heat shield. It will not provide nearly the protection as it would with the stock or an aftermarket one such as the cobb. The one you bought mounts in the intercooler bracket, not down on the studs by your turbo. You will either need to trim your stock one, or buy an aftermarket one to cover your turbo.

Yeah when my tbe comes in I knew I would have to trim the stock one to fit over the txs dp...Yeah I was going to use both (stock and SPT), plus I'm going to wrap the dp.
