It is ok , you are the customer and you have the right to be harsh. You really do , we did have alot of problems that really are of no concern to the customers. But we do want you to know this is one of the maybe 10 - 20 shipments, out of 4,000 and growing(Still Small), That went bad, or had a problem.
I Try to Never advertise for things we dont have intstock unless there happens to be a oversieght with the website and forums and the inventory is wrong. I take the blaim on any of the problems. I will lay it out Straight for everyone right now. As of right now there is one employee me the owner basically I am doing everything and, well most of you dont relise. I am micro managing . I am young I do not yet have the Fincail Back Bone to employee people that are reliable. Right now I am runing really small looking for investors so that this type of stuff cant happen. But What I would really like you guys to actually look at is my overall feedback..(Nasioc,ebay,Tons of old revews froms customer etc) I am trying as hard as possible to give 110% I have very very rarly have a problem and I hope some of my old customers will read this and step up and let everyone know im good.

Anyway? Who Says We Drop Ship. Thats Not Even Possible On Most Of The Stuff We Sell. We Only List What We Have Availble.and Like I Said Befor Yes I Probably Made A Mistake Somewhere I Am Sure.i Am Human.

To follow up on CLIMBANDBIKE UTEC. ALL UTECS ARE BRAND NEW AND SHIP WITH TURBOXS MANUFACUTURES DEFUALT MAPS. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!!! WE DONT TAKE THOSE EVEN OUT OF THE BOXES SO WHATEVER HE IS SAYING ABOUT THE MAPS IS NOT EVEN IN OUR HANDS.

I always refer vendors who have been willing to answer my questions and have purchased privately only from the ones that helped me out, even when they were more expensive, or didn't have it in stock, simply because I appreciate their knowledge and want to support their presence. It's tragic that the majority does not share your viewpoint. It's just the culture we live in, that constantly promotes a price war. Just ask yourself how often you've asked whether a vendor would match someone else's price. It is this senseless price war that made me get out of the retail business, and the fact that consumers do not value product knowledge, or have any kind of loyalty. In the end, it's an extremely demanding and often ungratifying business. But those few times, when you've really made an impact, and have really gotten to know the customer, and everyone ends up with what they wanted, are the times that make it all worth it. Also, let's not forget that it is our nature to make mistakes. Being a jerk is not acceptable, I agree, but an error happens even to the best, so let's not flame people who have in all honestly just made a mistake.

mistakes happen, people are mistake prone. its all in how the mistakes are corrected.
and ej20, you are right. it sucks to sell $10k worth of product so turn $700 in profit. thats why this industry sucks so much now. thats why i got out. i am loyal to a few companies that treat me well and value my business.

Interesting thread - good luck to Import Boost
I am one of the said dropshippers - but I do the drop shipping. And the vendors I sell to are all very highly rated on this forum and the 'other' one. Drop shipping in itself is not bad - it's the poor organization of either party that screws it up. My customers know how to prepare a proper PO and submit it. I know how to take that order and get it to the customer the cheapest, fastest way. I almost always ship the same day. Moreover, I make sure my customers maintain their good reputation by GETTING IT DONE. And if there is an error - I TAKE CARE OF IT. THere is no way a vendor can stock the $$$$$ value of parts that they all list. Half of them are just listing whatever Keystone will drop ship for them. (a major performance parts WD specializing in mostly cheap crap that they are somehow still always out of) Thats why drop shipping is a necessity. I wouldn't judge a business by it's size or location. It's still up to the people running it to make it work right. I keep my customer list pretty small - my product mix is small also so I know EXACTLY what I have and what I'm doing with it. I'm not buying a Ferrari anytime soon - but I punch a clock for no one except my customers and you guys. |

No its really not, lets just say i havnt gotten a response, and the phone number for the company is out of service....... Lets just say this is the second order ive made through them, and its the 2nd one that has been screwed up.
I sent an e-mail to them last week, and I see that they have been online, on messanger and in forums, but dont have time to take care of my problem? I want a response ASAP, or a stop payment will be issued and all hell will break loose. I'm normaly not this bitter, but i have a rather large project come march, and i need to have all of my parts in by then.

Im hoping this will convince Import Boost to respond to me accordingly.
Situation #1: A few months back I was in the markey for UTEC for my 02 wrx. Import Boost had a great price that couldnt be beat. I went along and ordered it from them. I get the package 2 weeks later, open it up, and it's an STI UTEC. Got a hold of them right away and they did take care of everything, and sent me out a new one with no problems. Customer service minus the screw up was very good. Situation #2(Current) Last month a place an order for an APS top mount and APS blow off valve. Sent the payment via Paypal, payment was received the very same day. He said he had them in stock and would ship them out right away. Two weeks later I message him on aol and ask him if he had a tracking #. He said he did some checking and his partner missed the order completely and that he would send it out right away and e-mailed me the tracking #. I check the tracking # twice and the first time it said the usual, billing information received. The second time I checked it said billing information voided. I then e-mailed them asking for an explanation. One week later with no response I e-mail them back again, no response for another week. I see him on aol, message him, no response. I then went to thier website to find an address or phone #. I call the phone number on the site, "Out of Service", not something I want to hear when this company has had $1,000 of my money for a month and I have received no product or service. I then come accross this thread and see others are having troubles, so I post a slight threat to post exactly what I'm posting now, to see if that would get a response out of them. Well guess what, it did. He pm's me and says "I did email you im not sure why you havent received the email. But your order is on the way dont worry." I felt a little relieved. Then I questioned what had happened. He said UPS sent back a bunch of packages that they needed to sort through and they would be sending it FedEx. Now if you remember the first pm he sent me, it said it was on it's way. I just got off the phone with FedEx, and no package is on record with a destination of my house. I have been nice so far. I have waited long enough with poor communication from the company. This is the last chance I give them to get a hold of me and give me an explantion that I deserve. If I don't recieve and e-mail, phone call, pm, by then end of the day tommarow(4:30pm Central Time), I am calling USBANK and puting a stop payment on my credit card, being the first to submit a complaint to the BBB, yes I did check them out, and leaving negative feedback where I can. I have had bad problems with alot of vendors in the past, we all have. This time just set me off. Import Boost, Contact me. I will delete this post if you contact me today.
