As I see it, you had to choose between 1)growth, sales volume, and the possibility of customer service "falling through the cracks" for some, or 2) 100% customer satisfaction while losing some volume with "out of stock" listings and more reliable delivery estimates.

It would seem to me you are trying to do both which isn't possible with your current business setup. You need to hire more people to work the lines and emails. Or, cut some of your product line. Maybe you offer too much to too many different people. Get rid of bad suppliers and build strong relationships with good ones. If there is a demand for an item but the supplier sucks, the heartache for you may mean you let some other vendor do that. You can't be all things to all people!

I share because I care!

Same....I'll go elsewhere when it takes more than 5 weeks to get a K&N drop in and GP Moto elbow, which eventually was cancelled and ordered elsewhere.

Well, I think it's important and in all fairness to report that the parts I ordered last Sep turned up yesterday. This may be one of those orders that 'fell through the cracks' but it's better late than never!

Wow

I have not bought tons of anything from Anthony, but he is a decent person and I am sure if anyone had a issue and contacted him he would resolve it ASAP! I am also a member of SQC and the only thing I hump is my fiance

You knew very well after conversations via e-mail and the phone that GPmoto had the intake elbows on backorder. Do you think if I had it on the shelf that we'd keep it here for 5 weeks until we decided it was a good time to ship it? I cannot control the production of products in this industry.

This was an APO issue...we sent this order twice...first set of parts was lost in transit and we paid for another set to be resent to you out of our pockets. I don't like having old orders like this over head...but how do I prove that the first shipment didn't arrive when it ships from USPS to an APO in Austrailia? Easy. You can't. So we took the customer's word for it.

Thank you...and glad they arrived safely. Next?

Thumbs up

Thanks Anthony. I do appreciate the efforts you took to get the order through and that you had to cover the second package. I honestly did not realise the first order didn't get through.

FYI, the APO address was a US Armed Forces address (not Australian). We used to get hundreds of USPS packages turn up every week at my work location in Iraq. I made several orders (Amazon etc) while in Iraq and had no problems with any of those. In this case, my only guess is that it was stolen in transit. But no, I can't prove that.

It is also possible to have packages sent to APOs registered, which might be something your business might want to look into.

Sincerely, thanks for sorting this out for me. My faith in Mauro Motorsports has been restored!

Wow I ordered a uppipe for them and got email notification right away, and the part shipped a day or two later. I wish every time I ordered something online it was as smooth as that. The biggest problem I have had with online orders is from scoobytuner.com.

I understand, but dont list it as in stock on your website....cause knowing it's not in stock people might order elsewhere, but you also knowing that, seems you list it to reel the deal in. who knows, but there were issues other than the back order....YOU never emailed me or called me or anything, until i called you, were you stated it isnt in stock and it will be on backorder. too bad

Wow bad buisness pratices.
Even one complaint is too many, and it looks like they are piling up.

Have YOU ever ordered anything from Mauro? If not, then it's really not your place to say anthing.

Remember people love to complain but are resistant to praise. If you had not had personal affiliations with a company, then you are just jumping on the bashing bandwagon, which is usually blown out of proportion. Anthony responded to every single dissatisfied customer and it appears pretty much everything has been cleared up or will be cleared up soon.

So if Mauro has 3-10 temporarily bad orders out of 100, I say that's still a really good rate. Did you know the airline industry loses approximately 10,000 bags a day? (http://www.usatoday.com/travel/fligh...ags-usat_x.htm) So we should never fly anywhere anymore, right?

After reading everything, you are most certainly entitled to your own opinion and judgements, but after reading everything it's not going to stop me from ordering from Anthony.

I just want to add that I've had several orders from Mauro that went as smooth as could be. I've never met Anthony or spoken to him so I'm no leg humper. I'm happy to say that Mauro has always served me well...

Thumbs up Thumbs up for Mauro Motorsports!!

Just got my GT Spec V1 lip in from Mauro yesterday and everything looks great. Not to mention they were the only website that had these lips in stock and they had 30 of them. Had very quick communication from them, talked to Anthony about 5 times through email within an hour and he was really nice and honest about everything. Shipping was pretty fast also. Bottom line is, so far Mauro has been one of best vendors I have dealt with, if not the best, and I would def order from these guys again.
