If your WRX is anything other than bone stock, but you don't feel like taking up space in you signature for your mods list, put them here or in your profile. This stuck thread will serve as a reference for all members to see what mods each WRX owner has on their car. Start with a description of your WRX as you bought it. Feel free to include installation or review links and/or 1/4 mile times with your mods list. I'll get us started.

downpipe and stage 2 accessport

i installed my perrin downpipe today while at work, (if you have access to a lift just do it yourself don't pay someone else, it's not so bad) i set accessport to stage 2 it runs awesome, stock was 13.5 or so now its 18lbs.

^ You have a PM in regard to preventing the imminent destruction of your motor.

The 5,500 RPM LC won't bode well for his transmission either.

ah

ok just because i have 8k rpm rev limiter does NOT MEAN THAT I EVER PUSH MY MOTOR THAT FAR, thx. the rev limiter might as well be at 6500 because thats when i shift as i loose all power, it seems, by 7k. AS FOR THE 20g, im only runnin 18 lbs fellas, so be easy. i can assure you i have a dead nutz tune and my tuner def. knows what he is doing. as for the launch control, i slide slip the clutch as seeing that 5500rpm sidesteps DESTROYED 2 trannies this far. thanks for the concern but i have broken enough of everything on my car to know what NOT to do. But now that yall mention it, i will change the rev limiter back to stock 7k right now just for piece of mind.

Project Resist tempation to upgrade turbo

2006 SGM WRX Sedan - Commuter car driven 40 km/day at most; so I'm trying not to drop too much money into, yet enjoy a spirited commute from time to time.

The Mostly Go:
  • Invidia catted downpipe
  • AVO catback
  • Samco TB IC coupler recirc tube, with t-bolt clamps
  • Vibrant silicone elbow, but to fit STI TMIC to TD04
  • Samco Afta MAF hose with t-bolt clamps
  • Accessport V2, tuned by Airboy: 91 and 94 octane tunes, 17.5 psi
  • SPT style turbo heat shield + cut OEM shield
  • 2007 STI TMIC + splitter/bellows
  • Grimmspeed exhaust and downpipe gaskets
  • NGK Iridium 1 step colder plugs
  • Killer B Ultimate oil p/u tube
  • Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus tires for summer/Blizzak WS70 for winter
  • Slotted/drilled rotors /w ceramic pads; stop well but unsure of brand; came with car
  • Whiteline 22mm, adjustable sways and endlinks front/rear: softest setting front/mid setting rear for now
  • WC Lathe Works GF4
  • Kartboy front/rear shifter bushings
  • Kartboy standard length exhaust hangers

The less Go, more Show (yet still retaining function)

Just bought a wrx

hello wrx world, i'm a noob wrx owner here in bensalem, pa. I own a 2002 rb wrx with 32k on it bone stock. mod I did was the drl shutdown and thats about it for now. got a long way to go. any advice on other modifications that deal with just car itself like improvements or deleting and such not sure how to explain what im trying to say:rolleyes:. p's

The freshest of the fresh dyno results are in: 230 whp 315 wtq on a Dyno Dynamics

Since we all know dyno results are just meaningless numbers, stock on the same dyno is 175 whp/220 wtq

STI (multiple stock cars): 222 whp/~240 wtq

New to Mods ( 17 yrs old)

what does everyone think about a black front lip, on a silver wrx hatch ( 08) i have the lip, but dont feel like matching color, so i though ide just plasti dip in black or something....PLEASE i need ideas. Also thinking of getting full exaust done, downpipe to tip, any recomendations for that?
