synchromesh friction modified?

Today I went over to the Chevy dealership and bought a quart of GM Synchromesh fluid to fill up my tranny (the oil level was below low.. as in below the letter L from the factory ) well after filling it in the transmission felt alot smoother and every gear now slides into place with no effort at all. pretty much feels like im doing a perfect double cluth every up-downshift

well the question is while i was at Chevy to buy the synchromesh they also had another fluid called "Synchromesh Friction Modified". They claimed it was better but I rejected and just got the regular. After getting home i did a bit of research over at Honda-Tech and everyone there seems to be saying that the Friction Modified version is a whole like better for shifting and just the general health of your transmission. I'm just wondering if its just better for their transmissions because their different lsd's, etc. or is it just a better fluid for all apps such as our cars?

Is anyone here running the friction modified stuff? thanks
